after 2 years I finally have fiber... and my download speed is slower than my BB

I finally have fiber YEY!
first thing i did was a speed test
14mb down / 15mb up maybe it's the new line i thought
I checked plus net site
Estimated line speed:
80Mb (This may vary between 78.9Mb and 80Mb) - Checked on 2016-02-03 20:54:13
Current line speed:
77.4 Mb
I check my plusone router
Line state: Connected
Connection time: 0 days, 09:20:05
Downstream: 78.12 Mbps
Upstream: 19.53 Mbps
I thought my download speed would at least double... I used to get higher speed tests on my old broadband connection
granted my upload is quicker than that has made a little impact on my gaming (lower ping)
is this still a DLM situation due to my connection being new and my net will eventually increase?

You may need a chat or call to PN to get them to do a reset of their system. Have you had the email to say its been upgraded?

i had an email on the 12th saying it had been done but when i phoned they said the connection would be done on the 29th (today) no email yet

Try a disconnect / reconnect via the router interface - it just might sort it

I was worried about that Oldjim just incase there was some sort of DLM on my line
but i threw caution to the wind and DC via the router interface...
