Working fibre but no dial tone

Morning all,
Bit of a strange one. Phone line is producing no dial tone but the fibre Internet is still working (phone is with BT and Internet is with PN).
Tried the test socket route - same issue. Different phone etc. all whilst the FTTC is stable and working perfectly.
Any ideas as to what may be going on? Always thought if the phone line goes down, so does the Internet.

The FTTC element is added at your local cabinet so an exchange fault or a problem with the line between the exchange and the cabinet is likely not to affect your broadband service.
You need to report this as a phone fault to BT - Make no mention of broadband!

For anyones reference in the future:
Fault was found (they thought it was between the pole and the house) - turns out it was something at the exchange BEFORE the line hit the PCP. Was all fixed without an engineer setting foot in the house.
