New fibre broadband set up today. All fine. Ethernet cable connection to W10 laptop fine. LG G3 smartphone and Samsung S10 tablet connecting via wireless fine. Laptop connection via wireless not fine. Ethernet cable disconnected and laptop restarted. Laptop does not see hub. Created network connection manually with correct SSID and password but laptop does not see it. As various connections in immediate neighbourhood drop or come up, laptop sees the new connection but not hub. Baffled.

Welcome to the forum.
There are a few ideas here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/cant-find-wireless-network#1TC=windows-7
You seem to have tried most of them but maybe try again following step by step.
With the laptop on and not connected by ethernet and wireless switched off on other devices try using the wireless WPS button.

Running out of suggestions, so a couple off the wall ones!
Is WiFi switched on in the Router? Both channels, perhaps the other devices can connect at 5Gz, and the Lapptop only 2.4Gz which is off?
You could try separating both bands, and add a 5 to the 5Gz SSID so you know which is which.

Thanks for both suggestions but I have already tried both with no success.
What if I simply set the hub to 2.4ghz and not bother with the 5ghz?

Disabled 5ghz and mobile, tablet and laptop dont see 2.4. Enabled 5ghz and mobile and tablet connect. However, they only see ssid for 5ghz and not 2.4. Duff hub. Tech help sending a new one out.
