Will Plusnet Get 100mb Fibre Product?

Is plusnet going to move onto this product and catch up with others isp's eventually?

which ISPs that use the BT network currently offer 100Mbps?

BT offer it via FTTP, and virgin media. so why would PlusNET offer it?  not every can get FTTP

The answer is probably Yes. As technology moves ever forward there will come a point when even 100Mb is be considered slow. Not for a few years yet though.

What about something like 100/40 or 30 for people that are close enough to their cabinet (FTTC) to be able to have that as their max sync? Do you think something like that could be trial'd in the future?

it isn't available from BT Openreach so you can't have it

So of our older FTTP customers are on 100/30 profiles, dependent on when they signed up. It's just 80/20 or 40/20 at the moment.

True but those of us that have modem's reporting that they can sync at 100/40 and are only dropping down to 80/20 because of the artificially inflated SNRs surely it wouldn't actually cost bt much to implement? It would just require a new ip profile that would allow us to drop to 6db?
