Re: Why am I paying for Fibre Extra ...

Resynch fractionally better:

22:09:03, 11 Feb.    DSL Link Up: Down Rate=60502Kbps, Up Rate=20000Kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.2dB, Up=6.1dB

But download and upload worse:

At this rate Plusnet (a BT company) might be resynching me at the full 80/20 after 12 months of paying for fibre "extra" and not getting it. That is, if Plusnet don't put up their charges shortly (probably April ???) and I can get out of my contract early and leave this rubbish service.

Just keeping an update on how I, like so many other ex-BT customers, are being screwed over with a continually rubbish Plusnet service.

Re: Why am I paying for Fibre Extra ...

Fair's fair:

00:32:44, 19 Feb.    DSL Link Up: Down Rate=79999Kbps, Up Rate=20000Kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.3dB, Up=7.5dB

About time! Nearly 8 weeks after switching to Plusnet I get the full synch my line is capable of. 8 weeks too long. The actualities of it. just take a few minutes ago:

I'm sure I'll get a picture of the performance in due course.

Edit: Just noticed the Up dB shot up to 7.5dB, for nothing - no possible increase on the upload synch. Bizarre that would be increased.

Re: Why am I paying for Fibre Extra ...

Nothing good lasts forever! I was getting dl speeds up to 9.4Mb/s, then another resynch during the night, just 2 weeks later:

00:19:39, 05 Mar.    DSL Link Up: Down Rate=60819Kbps, Up Rate=19787Kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.2dB, Up=6.0dB

So dl synch cut again by 10. Great. Thanks so much.
