Which is the newest full release TG582n fibre firmware?

I've been reading forum posts as far back as 2012 and am confused as to current the status of the TG582n firmware.
There is a 8.C.M.0 FTTC firmware which is stable/full release/branded.
There is a 10.2.5.2.## firmware. This is where I am confused. Are they both beta versions or is one of them a full release firmware that for example is being shipped with new TG582n's from Plusnet.
A snippet that I have learnt  from my research here is that there is a fault with the FO version which the EO version doesn't have. I am also assuming the FO is newer than the EO.
Can anyone shed light on this please.

The latest firmware is the 10.2 variant.
I believe the difference between the FO and EO versions is multicast support.

An issue with the FO firmware release is that it does not properly re-configure the WAN Ethernet port for LAN use when switching the 582n to ADSL mode, but that only matters if you were going to use it on ADSL, not FTTC.
