When will you be upgrading customers with old plus net routers

The old sagecom routers are junk. Limited options and no 5G networks. The wifi performance is crap.
When will you upgrade your old loyal customers to the OneHub that you are now offering?
Very annoying as I singed up a new line with you just before you started shipping the new router and to get it I have to "renegotiate the contract with you" or buy a 5G one from a shop.

I don't think that the new ones are rated too highly in WiFi performance either. They are all made to a cost point, so never going to offer world-class performance.
If the router itself is good and causing no problems, look at getting a decent access point to do all the WiFi duties. It gives you the ability to disable the inbuilt WiFi, plug in the access point and locate somewhere that has the potential to offer better coverage too.
I just installed one of these for my brother the other day and I love them: http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/products/23764-ubiquiti-uap-ac-lr-uk/
It's also power over ethernet, making locating it much easier (you don't need to sit it near a power source).

Why not just go to PC World(other places exist) and buy a router?
Linksys WRT120N does work with fibre. This is the model I am using currently. It doesn't automattically connect so you have to enter your details and primary and secondary IP addresses. It is cheap too at abut £10 to £21 on eBay.
Here is an EU seller selling one at £5. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Linksys-WRT120N-300-Mbps-10-100-Wireless-N-Router/231867008295?_trksid=p21...

You can get an excellent Asus dual band router for under £70.00.

And remember to get a router that doesn't have a modem built-in(unless the built-in modem is compatible with fibre).

Buy your own router or Plusnet will want another contract for at least 12 months if they give you one.
Buy one with a built in modem .

new Hub One wifi is actually fine, it's a lot better than the hub zero that's for sure. You can pick up a hub one or Home Hub 5 cheap on ebay  Smiley

Not exactly the same software (webpage branding + no BT Open Wi-Fi are the obvious differences, there may be others).
