When will my cabinet go live

Can anybody at plusnet find out and tell me when Saltfleetby Cabinet 2 will go live for fftc, all the work has been done  to the new cabinet

U need to check here: https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ and enter your telephone number and this should tell u if FTTC is available!

Cheers, tried that a few times and says not available, was just wondering if plusnet had an insight or where able to get the information when it was going live

No, Plusnet use this https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ the same things. If it not available, u need to wait until BT to put FTTC available now. There is nothing that Plusnet can do about it.
The cabinet work all done doesn't mean it will be ready to go LIVE. It's could take weeks or months or even a year! BT are probably test the cabinet from the exchange and do some traffic management adjustment before passed onto BT Wholesale to get the LIVE updating on their system.
If everything else including fibre and copper pairs are connected then a couple of weeks to let hardware run and test its not about to be an early life failure, i.e. electronics survived journey from factory.
