When Can I Plug In My Fibre Router?

Hi all, I phoned and switched on Monday to fibre from standard broadband. I received the router about three days ago, and was wondering when it would be okay to plug it in. I checked the broadband order tracker and it said that "The Plusnet Hub One has been dispatched," and the next thing is "Your Broadband is now ready to use," which is green and ticked. I'm not sure if this page hasn't been updated from my first order, but it's weird it says the Plusnet Hub One, which I'm sure is the router for Fibre? How would I go about finding out? Many thanks!

Re: When Can I Plug In My Fibre Router?

Fix

@weeamanda96  Welcome to the forum.

The Hub One works on both ADSL and fibre. If you plug it in it will automatically configure itself to whichever you are on. If you are still on ADSL it should automatically reconfigure when you are updated. If it doesn't then just switch it off, leave it a minute then switch it back on.

Re: When Can I Plug In My Fibre Router?

Awesome. I've plugged it in now, and it seems by the speed we're still running through ADSL so I guess it's a waiting game. Thank you for your help!
