What's your PPP uptime?

I happened to check mine tonight and am quite impressed:

Surely someone can beat that

Been very stable since fibre installed on 5th Jan

Best has been 53 days and then we had power cut.

Years ago I was lucky if the connection lasted more than three days. Now measuring the uptime in months is the norm.

Though it often passes a 100 days it's still a milestone.

As luck would have it the PPP connection dropped at around midnight the other day and wouldn't reconnect for several minutes. I guess some "essential" work was being carried out somewhere.

Lol. Thought I might lose my connection this morning. Just as I swung my legs out of bed the power went off (a coincidence I think ). Probably caused a lot of angst in Brackley at 0649 in the morning. It didn't come back on until 0715.

Cue visions of people half way through a shower, cooking breakfast or sleeping past their alarm

Luckily I have a UPS and it claims to be able keep my server, router and modem powered for half an hour. Turns out it can - or at least twenty five minutes.
