What's with all the packet loss?

Have I finally been moved onto the new network?

On Sunday at around 9pm?

You are currently connected to gateway psb-bng04.

This is located in Southbank Point of Presence

'cos it's a little bit naff compared to what it was before :-/

You can ignore the big red spikes as that's me changing my router.

Re: What's with all the packet loss?

Oh...kay Plusnet.

I've bounced that session because of the really awful latency and terrible single threaded throughput. I'm now on a different gateway:

You are currently connected to gateway pcn-bng03.

This is located in Colindale Point of Presence.

You guys need to get your network sorted out.

Too early too see if the new gateway still has the low level packet loss that I picked up on Sunday night.

Re: What's with all the packet loss?

Looking a lot better since my last gateway switch. So the good news folks is that there are some good routes out there Smiley

Fix

I've flagged this up internally to take a look at that gateway.

Re: What's with all the packet loss?

@Chris  Colindale seems extremely unreliable - I'm on pcn-bng02 and my speed is all over the place, sometimes getting over 5% packet loss and latency peaking at 120ms.

Shut everything down and restarted and now I'm on gateway pcn-bng04. (also Colindale) which seems nearly as bad
