Re: What is going on,speed drop all of a sudden

It is showing last night that my d/load speed dropped by a mile,it is okay this morning though, weird.

But since the start of this year my PN router has been running for around 21 days at most then when i check it again it has re-connected.

I don,t think it should be doing that.

Woops was looking at the wrong side Lips_are_sealed

There was a outage in Edinburgh yesterday morning which will most likely have caused issues.

Re: What is going on,speed drop all of a sudden

Ok,but what is causing the PN router to run for 2 or 3 weeks then the next time i go into setting it shows it has re-connected again.

Re: What is going on,speed drop all of a sudden

Depending on the time it could be due to maintenance or a outage.

A drop every 2 or 3 weeks isn't something we could investigate I'm afraid.

Re: What is going on,speed drop all of a sudden

So it couldn,t be a faulty router then.

It could be but there's numerous potential causes for a single drop.

Re: What is going on,speed drop all of a sudden

I'm not saying we aren't willing to do anything but trying to investigate a drop every 2 or 3 weeks isn't simple I'm afraid and as I mentioned depending on the cause it could be something we can't resolve.

As the graph below shows bar the outage yesterday morning your connection is quite stable with the only drops occurring in the early hours which is when maintenance is normally carried out.
