What happened on the 20th December & 23rd?

I've just checked my connection stats on BQM and I've noticed weird colours in my connection on 20th December and the 23rd December at the same time 2:30pm. Uploads below for plusnet mods.

The 2 spikes today seem to be TBB at fault as every single graph on http://community.plus.net/ping-graphs/ have them.  As for the other spikes, could ahve been when a pc was turned on and background auto updaters are running and didn't work cleanly.  I've had issues with the Smart Defrag updater doing that.

Thanks Gus for your comment, so is TBB causing this problem for everyone today?

Re: What happened on the 20th December & 23rd?

Normally a red spike of the length on the graph equals a lost sync and rarely a lost PPP session, neither of which happened to me yesterday as I was online all day.  So can only assume that it was a blip on TBB's side, which has happened in the pass with false positives affecting all graphs, which TBB on highs won't admit to.

Really? From the TBB forums (http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/newsite/f/4381297-forums-and-bqm-pinger.html):

Did both go down earlier please? Maybe just before 1pm and just after 3pm.

Re: What happened on the 20th December & 23rd?

Those lines could be caused by many different issues, from short outages on the monitoring side, to a very brief disconnection on your ADSL. I wouldn't worry too much about them unless they're causing you issues.
