What did plusnet do last night?

My PPP dropped 23.46 hours

Mar  1 23:46:24 TomatoAC66 user.info redial[28878]: WAN down. Reconnecting...
But even more interesting it seems other plusnet users were affected, another plusnet user lost their PPP at 1.40am.
What was done last night?

That's some conspiracy theory!
You lost connection at 23:46 and 'another plusnet user lost their PPP at 1.40am' 
Look at http://community.plus.net/ping-graphs/, most graphs show steady connection, a small number have disconnected at different times over 24 hours, isn't that about normal?

I too had a disconnect late last night............

looks like it was not intended.
Emergency Planned Gateway maintenance - Monday 2nd March 2.30pm - 3.30pm
That is on the gateway I was on.

Well that's now 3 that could be exactly the same time (quarter to midnight) so possibly a gateway (unless you're all on the same exchange).
