What could have caused this at 06.00 hours?

As well as my latency doubling I have also seen a 10% drop in download speed & an increase in ping. There was no change in gateway although since the "event" I've tried a couple of hops which made no difference.
An explanation will be gratefully received.

Could it be a DLM intervention?
I had a rebooting event shown on my log at about 07:00 this morning. That's an odd time, in my experience as DLM changes are usually in the small hours and before 05:00. 07:00 seems to be a manual intervention.

Looks like a DLM adjustment. Around a year ago I was getting DLM adjustments a couple of times a month as my line alternated between interleaved and not-interleaved. They were usually around 6am.
