Are you monitoring the stats using a hacked modem or a VDSL capable router

I have an asus dsl-ac68u when connected in dsl mode, the stats show hundreds of thousands and sometimes million fec errors over 24hour, so i bought myself hg612 and hacked it to compare. so far with an uptime of 18hours my fec count is 59thousands and in the last 15minute period i had 1440.
To me the 59thousand seems very high.

ES and SES are the two to watch most closely as these will determine whether DLM intervenes.
I'm not too sure how accurate the Asus is at reporting these figures.

At the moment my line is interleaved, this usualy will change to fast path after 9 days of a solid connection. you may be aware of the problems with the asus dsl modem where it keeps dropping sync and after so many times will get hit by dlm. check this out if you like about the problems. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18606945&page=1 I have been experimenting to get the best out of my asus and i got the hg612 hacked so i could compare.

considering all you had to do was upload the firmware to the router i hope you didn't have to pay much for the extra
Oh if you want compare lots of errors on the line compare with mine (don't worry PN knows about it)

i paid £15 for it and put the firmware on myself.
