Last night I got a new IP and since then a lot of things have gone to pot.
I cant access quite a lot of pages and they will either take ages to load or just hang or fail to completely - you cant see how in firefox I get the spinning wheel as pages wont fully load.
Using Firebug I then realised it was any webpages that used google services such as google Analytics.
Example showing empty speedtest.net page with no content and hanging @ google.com
I cant access Google.com, Google.co.uk or youtube at all
Tracert

I've tried swapping gateways and it takes 5 to 10 mins to get a PPP session.
I picked up this gateway and I had no internet access to anywhere at all - No internet no nothing.

Yet another gateway hop and back again with the same problem
lo0.16.Central16.ptw-bng01.plus.net
Finally managed to pick up another gateway which is where I am now (bear in mind it takes ages to get a PPP session) but its very intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt

A couple of mins later and its not working again.

Its the same on my galaxy tab so not just the PC.
Also Im having problems with my plusnet mail and whilst sometimes it does work, mostly it doesnt.
Note it will go up in stages of 2 as it checks two mailboxes at the same time.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

the http x6 requires a decent cpu, this can effect results.
I'm guessing you are on the new network and a simple gateway hop doesn't assign a new IP?
If you Like it, give it a

Testing from the PC which has an i7.
Usually its perfectly fine for httpx1 and httpx6. Doesnt account for the upstream either.
Tried gateway hopping several times, the gateways can be seen in the tracerts.
I got a new static IP last night, previously was on dynamic for testing purposes.
Note one gateway didnt give me any routing at all.
Yes I am on the new network have been for a few months.

Update so far. Just shortly after I made the above post got through to live chat, who told me I had to change my password.. then perform a reboot. It worked for about 10 mins, then it got worse and for the rest of the day Ive had no routing to external websites. So had to place a phone call for Support.
A couple of times I manage to get on a gateway, but it will soon drop out. It takes about 10 mins to get PPP, then I'll either land on a gateway that will let me have access to anything but sites google related, and will eventually drop out so I have no routing past Plusnet.

Waiting for someone to call me back as they think they know what it is. Something to do with someone else's account using a HubOne and TR069.

Was promised that someone would ring me back yesterday..
I got a text yesterday evening saying a reset hadn't resolved the problem and someone would update me today.
Yet no-one has
In the meantime Ive got on a gateway that at least is giving me some sort of routing... despite the fact most pages never finish loading 😕
Its still also taking an extraordinary amount of time to obtain PPP.

@kitz, I've just taken a look at your account and this should be sorted now. Shout up if you're still experiencing difficulties.

Ive not long been home and am too tired to check my connection properly, but touch wood it does seem ok so far, although the only places on the web I have been is to my forum and here.
