I have an IP webcam attached to my Technicolor 582n on Unlimited Fibre.
I have noticed that every 5 minutes the camera feed stops for a few seconds and starts again. I have had a look at the camera stats page and the connection seems to drop every 5 minutes and reconnect again instantly.
I'm not sure if it is a camera, router or connection issue.
I have checked and adjusted just about every setting i can think of in the router to no avail.
Can anyone suggest how i can monitor my upload connection to see if i can narrow the issue down?
Thanks in advance!

You can set up a free ping test using the TBB web site.

But I think this may be related to your camera's own settings. If you can set it with a fixed IP address i.e. don't use DHCP on it, try that see if things change. A quick search will tell you how to do this for your router and camera.

Does the drop occur when the web cam is viewed form a local computer on your network, or only remote connections.
Also is the webcam wireless or hardwired.
