Very slow speeds on Fibre Broadband for months

Hello, for a few months now our broadband speeds have been unbelievably slow, to the point where basic webpages wont even load. Been doing speed checks for about a month now and the average speed seems to be about 1 Mb/s.

Connected to the test socket and retried still the same issue. Also tried replacing the micro filters etc. Speed issues are also happening when using Ethernet to connect. When we first got Fibre we were regularly getting 70 Mb/s download speed so I'm not sure what the issue is. Tries ringing up a few times but the wait times have been exceptionally long and unfortunately I've never had the time to wait with work/kids.

Regards Jackie.

Testing your line isn't showing any obvious issues:

Main Fault Location OK
Sync Status In Sync
Downstream Speed 80.0 Mbps
Upstream Speed 20.0 Mbps
Appointment Required N
Fault Report Advised N
NTE Power Status PowerOn
Voice Line Test Result Pass
Bridge Tap Not Detected
Radio Frequency Ingress Not Detected
Repetitive Electrical Impulse Noise Not Detected
Cross Talk Not Detected
Estimated Line Length In Metres 251.2
Upstream Rate Assessment Very Good
Downstream Rate Assessment Very Good
Interference Pattern Not Detected
Service Impact No Impact Observed
Home Wiring Problem Not Detected
Downstream Policing Discard Rate 0.0
Customer Traffic Level Upstream and Downstream Traffic Detected
Profile Name 0.128M-80M Downstream, Error Protection Off - 0.128M-20M Upstream, Error Protection Off
Time Stamp 2017-02-09T14:00:00

Can you run a BT Speedtest for me, ensuring you do the further diagnostics test after the first one completes. This stores the results on the supplier system and allows us to use this to report the fault.

Re: Very slow speeds on Fibre Broadband for months

It just means that the test has successfully run and it's not identified a fault with the service.

Re: Very slow speeds on Fibre Broadband for months

We can test the line but it helps to know what issues you're having so we know what to test for?
