My Broadband speed seems to have dropped away drastically. Im getting a faster upload than download. Incredible!
D/L 11.77Mb/s U/L 15.69Mb/s on Broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk.
BT Broadband Checker posted.
Are there any reasons for this? Maintenance, etc.

Sorry to hear your speeds have dropped.
We can see that they are lower than the estimated speeds for your line but our tests aren't showing any cause for this.
I'd recommend raising an fault here and letting us know once you've done this

Well what a coincidence. Been painfully slow for over 2 weeks, then I put a complaint in. Low and behold, the speed goes up 4 X faster to 46Mb/s. Or is this just me being synical?! Why are we as customers purposely placed on slower internet speeds, is it just on the off chance that we won't notice????

I can assure you that this wasn't done deliberately and based on the information we've seen the line is more likely to be at fault.
If you report the issue using the link provided above we'd be more than happy to investigate further
