My VPN connection to work is fine for a day or two but then it will drop out and I can't get it to reconnect without restarting the router. Annoying because every other device has no issues whatsoever.
My initial concern is that by having to regularly restart the router this is going to register as a problem at the Plusnet end and my speed will drop as a consequence.
Having done some searching on this forum I can see other people have been helped with being assigned a static IP. Is that something that would help me?
