Trying to setup a VPN on my NAS and I've done what was listed in the below thread, but my VPN connection still doesn't work. When I say it doesn't work, external devices cannot connect.

VPN has been setup to use IPSec
Help would be appriciated

I'm beginning to wonder if all these recent problems with VPN is being caused by the firmware 10.2.5.2.
Until recently the problem was usually fixed by applying one of the well publicised fixes.
This is the old fix for IPSec VPN
http://npr.me.uk/vpnissue.html
If that fails to work I suggest going back to the 8.C.M.0 firmware and if necessary applying the above fix again.

I am indeed using that version. I have also spoken to their so called "technical support" who were about as helpful as.............well, let's just leave it there.
Worth raising it with them to request testing or a new firmware version?
