Using my own router

The change over is planned for 15/08/2016. Business 'up to' 76mbs deal.

Received Hub One router from Plusnet.

Existing router DrayTek Vigor 2830, Openreach modem, TP Link SG1016D Switch.

Should I just change the Vigor for the Hub One or configure Vigor for Plusnet?

Due to the arrangements of the office, can I still use the Openreach modem?

If the later, are there details of the settings required?

Would I receive the services provided by the Hub One through the Vigor?

Prevention is better than the cure(I hope).

Re: Using my own router

You can continue using the Openreach modem or switch to the Hub One. Both should work fine and it's entirely at your discretion and what's best for your setup.

If you use the modem and then your own router, you just need to configure the router to connect via PPPoE and enter your Plusnet connection details in there (username@plusdsl.net).
