Used to have a solid 70mbps now 30-40 and constant dropouts?

Hi guys. Got a bit of a strange one. Been with BT fibre for a couple of years with no problems at all, and around 6 months ago moved over to plus net. All has been well until Friday, where I noticed I kept getting kicked out of games and when watching films etc. Restarted the router a few times and got some real bad down speeds, and just as many dropouts. Nothing has changed and I have tried 2 routers and both so the same. Does it sound like a line fault? I have also tried disconnecting all my devices from the router but the problem persists.
