Upstream issues?

Hi Plusnet, yes I'm still here.

To be totally honest my connection has been 'okay' for the past few weeks, so why move if it's okay? Smiley

Anyway to get to the issue, could you please check my upstream?  I seem to have an issue with it, for example using 'facetime' I can get incoming calls fine, but outgoing ones rarely work, we have done tests and its only like 1 in every 4-5 calls actually connect when calling out, but 5/5 work when it's incoming.  That along with other issues leads me to believe the problem is my upstream.

Thank you

Re: Upstream issues?

Hey,

I've just been running some diagnostic checks and no problems to do with your upstream are being flagged up.

What are the results of a speed test showing you?

Adam

Re: Upstream issues?

its averaging around 1.2-1.4mbps

I have come to the conclusion that my upstream is just too low , so I need to possibly look at how much it will cost to have you upgrade it for me.

I'm currently 'out of contract' and I would consider upgrading my account to get faster upstream, however I'm not willing to take an 18 month contract just to upgrade my account.  What are my options?
