Upstream attenuation question

I've been with PlusNet a few months now on the upto 38mbs package, I've recently installed a Home Hub 5 and having looked at the stats my upstream attenuation is considerably higher than my downstream(unless I'm reading them wrong). The initial install was performed by Openreach who fitted a new faceplate.
4. Board version: BT Hub 5A
5. DSL uptime: 0 days, 22:56:48
6. Data rate: 8270 / 35891
7. Maximum data rate: 8291 / 42743
8. Noise margin: 6.0 / 6.6
9. Line attenuation: 37.7 / 23.9
10. Signal attenuation: 36.9 / 21.3
I'm happy with the download speed(although would be happier with higher but then again wouldn't everyone  Smiley )
I welcome any input.

Re: Upstream attenuation question

Hi davenos,
That's quite normal to see the upstream SNR as being much higher than the downstream. This is just because it utilises different tones/frequencies.
