Uploading twice the download speed!

OK, I was only moved from Broadband to Fibre Extra earlier today but am somewhat bemused by the check results using direct cable from my One hub to my PC made over the last 3 hours.  I am aware that it will take up to 10 days to settle but here is the last set of results . . . .

Ping 36 ms,

Download 7.96 Mb/s

Upload 18.64 Mb/s

Yes decimal points are correctly placed!

That is a 10%  increase on Download and over 2000% increase in the upload  with the upload now over twice the download rate.

Is this normal??

I am aware that it will take up to 10 days to settle but here is the last set of results . . . .

Fibre doesn't have a 10 day settling period.

Your problem is that your PlusNet profile hasn't caught up with the change from ADSL to Fibre and so is still limiting your download throughput to the old ADSL speeds. Hopefully one of the PN help team will spot this thread and reset it.
