Upload speeds since early Feb

Hi Plusnet

 

I had a problem with my line in early Feb which meant I was offline for almost a week, it was repaired but although download speeds were ok afterwards upload speeds were really slow (Less than 1Mbps) I was hoping it would resolve itself but it hasn't. I'm currently trying to back up a large-ish amount of photos to the cloud and it's painful, so much so it's un-doable.

 

Hoping someone can have a look, I'm off to work and will check this evening if any more info is required.

 

Two speed tests ran around 0730 this morning

Forum links don't seem to work. Tests on BT and Ookla this morning were both around 27Mbps down and 0.7Mbps up.

Hi there, 

 

Line tests have picked up on a potential high resistance cable joint. That in turn will be having the impact on your upload speeds. 

 

There seems to be an outage on our suppliers systems at the moment so I can't report it straight away but I'll come back to this after an hour or two to try again and will keep you updated.

We're up and running again 5-6Mbps upload. I've updated the ticket.
