We have a SamKnows box monitoring our fibre broadband line and over the last 3-4 months our upload speeds seem to cycle on a monthly basis from 1.0Mb/s to 1.8Mb/s, then back down to 1.0Mb/s again. We are on a long cable length betwen the house and the street cabinet so are downloads are no better than 22Mb/s (using a Draytek router with adjustable SNR). I've attached the upload speed graph as it looks like a configuration change somewhere rather than the line itself as there is a definite cut off point (down and up) every time it happens. Any thoughts please?

Our tests are actually showing your upload sync speeds as changing from 1 to 1.8mbps.
Unfortunately the current upload speeds are within your estimates so its likely we can't raise this as a fault.

Hi Matthew,
Upload is not a major issue but I was curious as it seems to cycle in a monthly pattern, one month 1Mb/s then 1.8M/b. It's not like it cycles on a daily basis between the two speeds. It's almost like some setting is being changed 'somewhere' each month.
it's very defined on that graph I attached.
Cheers,
David
