Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 37.79 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 40 Mbps-54.73 Mbps .
Additional Information:

2. Upstream Test: -provides background information.
Upload Speed
6.7 Mbps

0 Mbps 20 Mbps
Max Achievable Speed

Re: UPLOAD SPEED

It doesn't say that
The product you are on is 80/20 and the max achievable speed is always shown as 20Mb/s as there isn't an upstream IP profile
Having said that your speed test results are lower than they should be - were they tested wired or wireless

Re: Upload Speed

There isn't anything you can do to improve your upload connection speed
The first thing is to find out why your download speed is so far below your IP profile
What does the current line speed report - see my sig for a link
As an aside - your sig breaks the forum rule by a fair chunk

Re: Upload Speed

not necessarily.  I think Oldjim was pointing out that if your download speed is so far off your estimate there may be a problem on your line.  If that was fixed then you might also see a benefit in your upload speed, too.  Point is that if it's a line problem every ISP will have the same issue until it's fixed.  You may as well try to give PN the chance to fix it first

Re: Upload Speed

Actually that wasn't what I was saying
The speed test result is far too low compared to the IP profile and that is what needs sorting hence asking what the Current Line Speed is set to
With that downstream IP profile I would have expected upload speeds to be over 10Mb/s

So would i.
Phone exchange:
    MUIRKIRK
Estimated line speed:
33Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2015-06-06 13:00:04
Current line speed:
    40 Mb

Re: Upload Speed

That answers part of the question
Why is the downstream test low - you are apparently on the 40/20 product
Having said that it doesn't explain why the upstream speed test result is low
Can you try these tests and report the results

Re: Upload Speed

@oldjim even when i had my full 65Mb down i never got over 10Mb upload it just maybe the case that the OPs line isn't capable of more upload, unless there is indeed a fault but we would have to see what his estimate range is to know whether or not it should be higher.
