Upgrading today, weird email re upload speed changing

Hi,

Firstly apologies, I am not at home and therefore am getting this info second hand from a non-techy. 

Due to upgrade today to Unlimited Fibre Extra, the phone line has been down and has come back up. No testing done as yet but I have just had an email stating "The order we placed to change your upload speed has completed. Your upload speed is now 2Mbit/s".

I thought Fibre Extra was 76/19.5 ?

Could someone please confirm that my migration has completed and confirm what upload speed I should be seeing ?

Unfortunately the order was placed incorrectly, sorry about that.

I've corrected this and you should get the faster speeds tomorrow.

So what speeds will I get today ? Is it just the upload speed that is incorrect or will my download speed be wrong today too ?

Based on the 2Mb/s up, you are probably on the 40/2 service.

At the moment you're on our 40/2 service but tomorrow you'll be on our 80/20 service.

Thanks. Definitely on 40/2 at the moment. According to the router stats the best connection speed on my line is around 45mb/s but the increased upload speeds are worth the extra.

Still a massive improvement on the 3.5mb/s I was getting !!
