Upgrading to Fibre - no router sent yet?

Hi.
Sorry for puting this on the forum, but I cant find an email address and don't have time to phone (at work).
I ordered fibre broadband over a week ago, and have the BT engineer booked for Friday morning. As of right now, I still haven't received the router you were meant to be sending me.
Should I have had it delivered by now? Is it on its way?
I really need it to come by Thursday at the latest, as our postie is not guaranteed to deliver in the mornings!

Another question. If this router doesnt come in time, can the BT engineer still do his work? Will my current router still work OK (which connects to plusnet via adsl).

Yes the engineer can still do his bit and provide you with the modem. You can then test it by using a direct PC to modem PPPoE connection: http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/fibre-help-how-to-set-up-a-pppoe-dialler-in-vistawindows...
Your current router won't work.

We can't answer your question about the router as we are just customers like yourself.
Only Plusnet staff can do that.

I've had fibre installed VERY recently and my router arrived the day before BTOR were due to do the install.

We aim to send the routers our prior to activation, but we don't send them as soon as the order for fibre is placed.
