Upgraded to Fibre Extra but still getting ADSL speeds

Received email this morning that my upgrade to Fibre is complete as scheduled. Installed router 2 days ago and all working well however I still have the same speeds as my previous ADSL service. I have tried restarting router etc to no avail. Can some one help please. Thanks

Take a look and see what this page says is your current line speed

Welcome to the forums.
The emails have been known to be sent out early, sometimes many days too early.
The changeover from ADSL to Fibre can take place anytime upto midnight so it may happen today.
BUT if I was you, I would contact Plusnet by either phone or Chat and get them to confirm the actual go live day as it may not be today at all. If it is for today, then it is just wait and see when the engineer has completed the work.

Turns out I'm not so lucky and my order didn't actually go through properly
So now I've got to wait for a new order to be put through manually and then receive a completion date within the next 24hrs...
so yeah I'd phone up Vanessa and double check!

Went on the online chat to be told that I have received an automated message telling me that my upgrade would take place on 18/08/16. Have double checked and have definitely not received any notification or email stating this. Last communication stated 10/08/16. Not very happy at the service, the email notification system obviously needs a complete overhaul. Might look to see if I can cancel and go with another provider as fed up now.
