Upgrade to Fibre, now no internet and a phone bill!

I upgraded from ADSL last week to Fibre and this week my connection has been switched before my new router has arrived.

 

after half an hour on the phone (0800 from my mobile) i was told (what i expected) your connection has been swapped and you must now put up with no internet untill it arrives! Great planning. Surly this processes is bread and butter for plusnet! How can the process be this stupid to leave customers with no internet. I work from home have already had 1 day without internet.

 

i am left hopeing that it turns up today or i face a weekend with no internet.

 

anyone else experianced this?

still no router. so a weekend without internet for me! thanks plusnet! i raved about how great you guys were and i feel completely let down. your customer services didn't even apologize, 

 

your router was dispatched on Monday and it does take 3-5 working days to arrive

I dont want to pour petrol on the fire but haven't you got any other routers? It doesn't have to be the one supplied by plusnet. What router were you using on ADSL?

Yeah adsl. Been told it won't work until the fibre one turns up
