Upgrade from Unlimited Fibre to Fibre Extra - no change in speeds

I placed an order last night to upgrade from the 40/2 product to the 80/20 product to see if I could take advantage of whatever changed in our local cabinet recently. See https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/BT-Business-Hub-Strange-SNR-behaviour/m-p/1475012#M4094

I got confirmation of the order at  20:41:16 saying This will change over on 12th September 2017.

At 20:41:26 I got an e-mail saying that there was problem with the order and someone would get back to me.

At 01:27:23 on the 12th (today)  I got an E-mail saying the order was complete.

I have restarted the router a couple of times today, but the connection is still rock solid at 39,950/1,999

I am on a long hold on the phone at the moment - could someone check what is going on?

Hi there.

 

I'm taking a look at this for you now.

 

EDIT:

@wisty It looks like our automated system failed to place the upgrade order with our suppliers. I've just placed it now which should complete tomorrow at any point up to midnight. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Router reset at 03:20 today 58.5M downstream 11.1M upstream.
