Hello, just thought I would give an update to an older thread.
In short: I could order VDSL (5-8mbps) but ADSL checker was showing slower speeds than my ADSL 2+ line (10-20mbps).
I was told my line was over 2km from the cab and I thought that was wrong.
Two weeks ago the ADSL checker updated the speed estimate so I promptly ordered.
I have now been connected for little over a week and my speeds are
I am unsure as to what could have changed as there were no vans/roadworks in the area as far as I could see. I still think this was some sort of error on the openreach system but I am very glad that it has been sorted out. I was repeatedly told that my line was over 2km to the cab by the openreach when using the contact openreach form.
My current stats
I think I have had one disconnect when the line increased in speed overnight (Current and max rate), other than that it has been rock stready.
Could I please have a GEA test on the line?
Many thanks.
