Unlimited fibre upload speed

While I get between 10.6 and 13.2 Mbp download speeds my upload speed is always beteen 0.4 and 0.5 mbp. Surely this is not correct? Can't get through to the support line but I would like this resolved.

@Astroexeter Welcome to the forum.

Are you checking your speeds over a wireless connection or using an Ethernet cable between your computer and hub. Thw latter must be used to get meaningful network speeds.

What range of speeds are quoted if you put your phone number in here?  https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

It sounds a bit like you are on an ADSL not fibre connection. The Hub One works with both.

I have measured with the laptop connected via Ethernet directly to the hub. I'm an ex-network engineer and this is definitely not right. I suspect we have an ongoing problem with the copper line from the cabinet as it is very old and I have been told befor by Openreach engineer that it is suspect.
