I ordered an upgrade from unlimited fibre to unlimited fibre extra last week. Speed estimate at time of ordering was 68 to 80 Mbps with an MGS of 60.9. Email received on the 2th to say order complete, and closed question on my account on that day stating line provisioned at 80/20.
Up to now there has been no improvement in speed. As of today BT Wholesale test, on a wired connection to the (Technicolor) router, gives a download rate of 41 Mbps. Further diagnostics shows an IP profile of 38.67 (screen grabs attached).
Have tried restarting the router but things seem to be stuck at around 40 Mbps.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
Re: Unlimited fibre extra upgrade
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum
Unfortunately it looks like our system didn't put the regrade order through to our suppliers.
I've manually placed the order now and it should complete by the close of play on Wednesday at the latest.
Apologies for the confusion and any inconvenience caused.
