Unlimited fibre extra current line speed 21Mb BT IP profile is 70.89 Mbps

Upgraded to unlimited fibre extra 2 days ago (Thursday 3 March).
Yesterday (Fri 4 March) https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed showed current line speed as 21Mb, estimated line speed 69Mb, and it hasn't changed.
BT Wholesale speed test shows IP profile of 70.89 Mbps.
Should I expect the current line speed to update automatically, or does Plusnet need to give it a nudge?

Phone or chat with Plusnet and get them to correct the line speed.

I had a SMS some days ago to tell me my new fibre broadband was active.  I phoned today to complain it was slower than the ADSL2+ and found out that my ADSL was capped at 17Mbps and I was still not connected to fibre.  Even if I had been connected to fibre, the cap would still have been in place I think, as that happens in a different place.  I'm still waiting for the fibre connection, but have just confirmed with a test that the cap has been lifted.

I am in the same position, i have upgraded to Fibre and my Profile says i am on it and should be getting between 51 MBPS and 77. My speeds though are 5.9 MBPS i am told on the phone it can take up to 8 days to see a difference in Speeds.

Hi buddy
From what I understand and it is limited
There is no reason for it to take up to 8 days your bt profile is set correctly and PlusNet's current line speed is set correctly it should be just a case of going into your router and dropping the connection (IE disconnect and reconnect)...
And your line should pick up the new speed......
If you have a hud one router type this into you browser
http://192.168.1.254 then login with the details found on the back of the router  unless you have changed them and then you will be able to disconnect and reconnect..... Hope this helps

I was not surprise as no one from PN staff will going to help u to match BT IP Profile on PN current line speed. This is why PN hide the current line speed from the member connection setting as it used to be there before but not anymore. Cos they probably don't want the customer to know what are the line speed. It's so wrong really.
The only way to check current line speed on bottom of my sig link.

If you have the new combined router/modem then stop doing that. Every time the DSL connection is broken you risk the DSLAM thinking there is a fault. Too many of those in too short a period of time and DLM will start to intervene by lowering your connection speed.
