Unlimited Fibre Extra

I have recently seen my download speed reduced. Originally it was 72Mbs, a few days ago it was 66Mbs and today BT test shows is:

Download speedachieved during the test was - 44.94 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 40 Mbps-49.79 Mbps .
 Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 49.79 Mbps

Shows my IP profile has been reduced - not sure why.

Any change you could look into this please.

Thanks

Andy

Re: Unlimited Fibre Extra

Hi I moved from Sky was getting 65mb last year, that dropped to 50mb in January so I got out of contract as my minimum line speed was 51mb. Since moving to plusnet I am only getting 30mb down and 10mb up. Really not happy.

I had BT visit about a month ago and put a new overhead line to the property and test.

Trouble is if you need BT to yours they won't do visits in the property at the minute.

Out of curiosity have you tried it in the test socket?

I have now done a couple of router reboots and its gone to 60Mbs, which is much better but still below the min of 66MBs under the contract.

Re: Unlimited Fibre Extra

Dear Plusnet, can I flag that at the moment i am below the min 66Mbps on my contract.

This started beginning of March.

This morning test (via Ethernet cable) is 58Mbps.

Many thanks
