Unlimited Fibre Extra not at current line speed

So my broadband suggest that my current line speed is at 45Mbps. I’ve never had that!
This morning when I did a speed test I was getting 24.8 and 26.7, both under the minimum guarantee too.
Can someone please look at my line speed?

Product: Unlimited Fibre Extra

Re: Unlimited Fibre Extra not at current line speed

@Andrea2006

With that estimated speed range why are you wasting money paying for fibre extra?

What have you done to make sure that the problem is not your responsibility? For example:

Are you testing over an Ethernet cable and not wireless with no extension cables or powerline extenders in circuit?

Have you done a quiet line test by ringing 17070 and selecting option 2?

Have you taken the front of your BT master socket and plugged your hub directly into the rear test socket via a filter?

All these things need confirming as acceptable before suspecting a line problem.

Re: Unlimited Fibre Extra not at current line speed

I’m not actually wasting any money as the fibre extra was actually less than my fibre when I renewed contract.

I am testing over Ethernet and plugged it into the master socket.

The only thing I haven’t done is the line test. I will try that now.
