Hi Plusnet community!
I upgraded from a normal broadband to a fibre broadband (stayed with plusnet) and it all went through about a week ago.
Having done a speed test several times over the last week it appears my download hasn't changed, yet the ping and the upload speed have!
I'm getting results such as
Ping: 20ms
Download: 3.8 Mbps
Upload: 8.5 Mbps
When the download is estimated between 50-80 Mbts.
The current speed is what i used to get with the old package.
Perhaps I need a line check, or is something else wrong?
I am using the plusnet hub 1 that plusnet sent with a order.

Welcome to the forums.
What does the Plusnet Line Speed say for your current line speed at https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
I would suspect it says 3.8Mb or so. If so , get on to Plusnet and get it changed. Once they have done that, and you have verified it using the link above then either a reboot of the router or preferably log onto the router, click disconnect wait 30 seconds and click connect.
The Plusnet line speed should be something similar to your BTW IP Profile download speed

Indeed, this is what it says:
Estimated line speed:70Mb (This may vary between 54.5Mb and 70.4Mb) - Checked on 2016-08-20 20:31:41
Current line speed:4 Mb
How to I get them to change it? just by phone or webchat?

Can you try a single disconnect/reconnect and see what the speeds are like after that.

It seems to have fixed over night, did a restart anyway and it all seems well.
