This has been going on for a few days and it applies to all our devices.
We cannot access or even ping any microsoft related sites. Everything else works perfectly!!
I even called plusnet today and they apparently flushed the dns on the back of our account. It all worked for about 30 minutes and then went back to the same state.
i am guessing there is an overiding DNS database that someone has [-Censored-]ed about with and has the worng lookup addresses in it....
Please someone fix it!!!!!!

Hi jbv,
On tuesday 13th just before midday my Microsoft Teams call disconnected. Since then I have been unable to connect to Microsoft Services such as office 365, teams etc. I tried to access the office 365 status page and that times out.
I can access it from my office pc. I have compared the ip address from both machines and they resolve to the same address. I can access these services when I connect my laptop to my phone via wifi and use data. It isn't a machine issue as my other laptops have the same issue.
Plusnet said there was a problem with the line and sent a engineer out. Now sending a new router, after a firmware update didn't help either. Not expect it to resolve the issue.
Have you had any joy?
Not sure if this is related but noticed that my samsung tv is unable to stream from netflix and amazon prime, but can browse their content. bbc iplayer disney 4od all seem fine.
Cheers
Rich

Interesting - You are both assigned IP addresses that start 213.31... 🤔
Is anybody else assigned an IP in this range experiencing any problems I wonder? FWIW, I can access Microsoft sites without issue.
You may have some success in powering your router off for 20 minutes or so to see if it assigns you an IP from a different range when you turn it back on. It would at least provide an indication as to whether or not the IP is anything to do with it, or if it's just a coincidence.

Hi bobpullen,
Thanks that's a good spot. I will power down after I finish work and see if I can get a different ip range when I restart. It feel that there is some routing issue, but I would have thought that plusnet would be bombarded with support calls if that was the case.
I'll let you know what happens once I restart.
Cheers
Rich

bobpullen, you are onto something. I'm now on the ip range
31.125.....
and teams is working. What do you think the issues is? Routing problems?
It suddenly happened on tuesday just before midday.
I'll go and see if it has fixed netflix and amazon prime too.
Thanks
Rich

Hello Everyone,
It started about two days ago, when I noticied issues with my PN broadband. What appears to be happening is that some websites are blocked (somehow).
For instance when I try to browse microsoft.com, azure.com, skype.com or duckduckgo.com I get connection timeout errors.
This used to worked fine and I haven't to modified any settings on my hub router.
It also seems that the name is resolved ok and I checked PN and other DNS servers with the same, good results (below).
And here are some exmaples of the nslookup and tracert results:
