Trying to set up my Asus DSL-N66U and failing

Hi, after connecting up the modem (replacing both plusnet sent me) and running the quick setup guide and choosing uk and plusnet I get no internet Sad
Is there anything that I can try? This modem is a bit over my head.
Thanks

Re: Trying to set up my Asus DSL-N66U and failing

That didn't help, the only setting I needed to change was ipv4 to ipv4/6 and it didn't work.

Re: Trying to set up my Asus DSL-N66U and failing

Does the DSL light stay on, and have you checked the log for clues?

fwiw, I would have continued to use openreach modem if that worked well,  and just buy a RT-N66U.

Re: Trying to set up my Asus DSL-N66U and failing

FWIU, the DSL version of this router has been known to have issues, however, i thought these were sorted with a firmware update?

Re: Trying to set up my Asus DSL-N66U and failing

The DSL light does stay on (my internet worked before the firmware update). I'll upload the log when I re-connect the modem

OK this is bizzare, I connected the modem to copy the log and it just works... I didn't do anything at all it just works.
