Truly slow Unlimited Fibre broadband

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me with a truly slow BB.

I upgraded to the above on the 4/11. I have waited the requisite 14 days to see if the speed improved. It hasn't. It has remained a paltry 25-30Mbps across several different speed tests. 

I should be getting 66-72 with a minimum of 62.

I'm not using an extension lead and the box is plugged into the master socket. As I have a laptop I am sat next to the box so there is no distance from box issue.

Can this be investigated please?

@douglas1906  If you are testing on a wi-fi connection your results are meaningless. Can you test your speeds on an ethernet cable connection. There is no 10 or 14 day training period on FTTC lines it should get to the best speed in a day or two.

What does this link say the speeds you could get for your phone number?

Not a tech but two things spring to mind from your post.

What is your line speed? The is shown on the setup pages.

You say you need to find a lead. You have one with your modem/router. Plug that in disable the WiFi on your laptop and do another speed test.

It has been said the WiFi speed is not a guarantee only line speed.
