After a no-show by an engineer to investigate my "fibre at dsl
speed" issue, I'm now at "BOT - FTTC Logged Faults - Post SFI".
Can anyone de-abbreviate that and/or explain it for me?
Thanks, John.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Hi @Sanctified,
Really sorry to hear the engineer hasn't arrived.
SFI mean special faults investigation, which is a bit of a glorified term that our suppliers use for an engineer appointment. Your case is in a ticket pool/workflow for our faults team for if issues are still persisting following an appointment (granted, they didn't show).
I couldn't find your account through the typical means, but I can get your fault chased up if you PM your username over.

Thanks for sending your username over.
I've passed the case onto my colleague who is going to give you a call once we have a sense of what happened. For my colleagues, the ticket number is 137970827.

Hi Matty.
Engineer arrived 8am, found that the line profile had been manually capped,
in error, because of the telephone cable break a few weeks ago.
Now back to 27Mbps, so thanks for your help in resolving this.
John.
