Hi
Wonder if you can help. Having a weird issue with a plusnet Technicolor TG582n router which is letting the neighbours use my bandwidth !
After I enable wireless security in the settings, all works well and we have to add passwords to all our devices. Then it goes back to being open wifi
Is this a known issue?
Thanks

Are you pwering the TG582n router off at any time ? Have you attempted to alter any settings on the router such as security or passwords ? Unless you save new settingsmodifications will not be retained. When you power the router off it will not retain modified settings unless you go through the save process first. This is a soft restart of the router which you achieve by choosing the restart option from the user menu.

I enabled the wifi security and clicked "apply" - I couldn't find any other option to save these settings.
I will try a soft reboot and see - thanks for the help
