TP Link VR900 wont reconnect after power cut.

Have not tried disconnecting from net… like I have a power cut..  Just incase it doesn't reconnected lol… just hoping that if it does disconnect in future that it reconnects without any issues… and the fix that BT have done  (whatever that is ) has fixed the issue.

One thing i have set up with my router is a reserve address in the LAN settings for my desktop pc, is it possible that this is causing the modem to lose sync due to a bug not addressed by the firmware?

I having problems with the VR900 V1, it just seem to lose the internet a very long pause before loading the page (e-mail or  internet page) then starts to work again. Seeing this on both PC and Macbooks.
System log is showing a notice of No ip addresses to give, OFFER abandoned and then Recv DISCOVER from XX:XX:XX:XX:65:86 (replaced XX for Mac address). I am seeing some Errors(pkts) on Upsteam low hundreds, zero on Downsteam. I tried all firmware the beta firmware seems the best for lower Errors(pkts) on Upsteam.
E-mail TP-Link support and supplied them with systems logs and screen dumps of router status page, still waiting to hear back from them what is happening.
I may send it back to Amazon if I still seeing problems , I have until the end of Jan 2016.
If someone from PlusNet support can check my line is working ok that would be great

The TP-Link logs you referred to sound like DHCP notices rather than something at the PPP connection layer?

Thanks for check., yes you are correct a problem with DHCP, being trying to sort out with TP-Link support
I found that VR900 router did not like the Apple Time capsule (3rd gen) and had a problem on holding the IP address seems to keep losing. It and also had a problem of losing the internet ( on my MacBook's and desktop PC. But both MacBook's reported a strong WiFi signal when the internet went down and PC was still showing a LAN connection.
I decided to return the unit as I could get a full refund and gone back to my PlusNet router with the Apple Time capsule.

Irrelevant now that you've returned the device, but I've seen wifi issues with Apple devices and the HH5A/Hub One in the past when the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi networks have had the same SSID. Would have been interesting to see if the issue was still prevalent if you'd separated them out.

Now on to day 17 without any disconnects and still on latest firmware , not the beta one .

Had my first disconnect since 19th december ....5.22am ...but reconnected no problem ....but one disconnect in 3 weeks is good to me.
So thought would update firmware to the latest one recently released ....installed no problem and connected first time .
Will see how it goes with this firmware .

@Karlos do you know what type of cabinet your on & the type of chipset the DSLAM uses? also is G.INP enabled on your line & are you on fastpath or interleave?
Reason i ask is that some of these variables on your connection could be why its more stable on your fibre connection, id be surprised if its the same set up as mine. Thats why i mentioned the issues some ppl were having with the modem in the Asus DSL68U (Broadcom chipset) as its suspected those differences is why it was more stable for some & not for others
