Sync dropped over night

Since my fibre service went live on 21st April I have been syncing at 78meg. Speed test has consistently been 74 meg downstream with a ping of 14ms.
This morning my sync has dropped to 72.2 meg and speed test has dropped to 68 meg
I have an ECI modem on a Huawei cab.
Has a fault developed on my line? Can you please check for me.
gwroberts.
Edit - the speed test site now thinks my ISP is Infonet services corporation and not Plus Net !.

Re: Sync dropped over night

I can't see any obvious issues with your line, the sync has dropped to 74.7 but there's no obvious fault.
Downstream Speed 74.7 Mbps
Upstream Speed 20.0 Mbps
Profile Name 0.128M-80M Downstream, Error Protection Off - 0.128M-20M Upstream, Error Protection Off

Re: Sync dropped over night

Hi Chris.
Thank you for the response.
Do you think this could have been due to "Mk2 G.INP" been switched on at the cab overnight ?
Best Wishes.

Re: Sync dropped over night

Your line doesn't appear to have G.INP on it, if it did then I'd expect to see 'retransmission' in the profile so that may not be the cause.
If the line stays stable you may see the sync increase over time again.

Re: Sync dropped over night

My PPOE was lost at aprox 11:00 hrs yesterday. (Openreach engineer in the cab at 11:45 but I don't know if he was there at 11:00 - probably not)
I now have a different IP address.
Download speed seems to have dropped a little more.
Has there been any change in Downstream / upstream or profile ?
Thanks.
