Hey
My Sync Speed has dropped again.
Went from 58 to 55
and now
49.00 Mbps
15.66 Mbps

I am using a BT Business Hub 6 connected with an only 20cm long cable.
Anything anyone can do to give me a speed boost?

I've noticed that this particular speed test has dropped a few Mbits/sec - after consistently giving about 70Mb/sec for me.
Strangely enough, it only seems to affect the GUI version of Ookla - the command line version still shows 70Mb/sec.
Why not try https://www.thinkbroadband.com/download as this lets you download a large file, so you could measure the speed if you are equipped with a stop watch. 😀

5.2 x 8 = 41.6 Megabits real world speed
I regularly used to get high 5's to low 6's

Thanks for highlighting this - we've got you in sync at 54mb/s. I've reset your line profile to see if that helps as I can see it was set to 52mb/s.
It's worth noting that the minimum guaranteed speed for your line is 40.7mb/s so I wouldn't recommend raising a speed fault at this stage as it's likely that no fault will be found.
As always, I'd ensure that you're connected to the test socket of your premises (as shown here)

Seems to have improved, hopefully won't be at this address much longer as i'm moving to a New Build with FTTP & Virgin

During the last 6 weeks I've seen a modest improvement in speeds.
Here is a graph with a deceptive vertical axis for the last 13 months:-
